“Mission is the previleged place where we meet God. Each one of us finds her way to holiness through the fulfillment of the mission” – Cs 7

XIV Provincial Chapter proposes to continue with great expertise the functioning of the core groups in all the sectors of our province. Deliberations made in the chapter are to be implemented in the various apostolic services we engage in.

Services > Education

The Institute has as its main aim the education of the poor girls… What I have learnt in prayer, I will teach others.” - FD 4

Our Educational institutions derive their inspiration from the life and teachings of our Lord and Redeemer, Jesus Christ. Following the values imbibed by Bartolomea Capitanio from Jesus the Redeemer, we instill the same in our charges.

According to St Bartolomea christian education is the formation of the whole person after the image of God and of Christ. Education of the young was for her a service of charity. Bartolomea places before us the nobility of our vocation and our responsibility before God and His people.- more details - .

Services > Health Care

“The poor sick and infirm will be the delight of my heart.” -St Bartolomea-Vow of Charity.

We reach out with the concept of holistic health care, promoting it through the integration of other types of medicine. Preventive health care is also given through the outreach programs and in collaboration with Government Schemes.

Health care services existed in our Congregation from the very beginning. The explosion of knowledge and advancement in medical technology made medicine more complex and medical treatment costlier and inaccessible to the common man.

Our sisters are engaged in the health care and supportive systems. Many sisters are rendering their services in hospitals and health centers including administration and direct services. We have four sister Doctors.- more details - .

Services > PCYV (Pastoral Care of Youth & Vocations)

The church has the duty to promote different vocations, so let our communities offer, especially to the young, criteria for sound judgement, sets of values and models of life, that go against the worldly mentality through the power of the Gospel. (Cs. 58)

Through the witness to the joy of a committed life in our communities, by recognizing and valuing every person we meet, with a welcoming attitude to every one, we accompany children from their early age and foster in them seeds of vocation to our religious family. Being affable with the youth who are with us, we strive to train ourselves to become better youth animators. - more details -

Media Commission Board

Educate to the use of the means of social communication (XVII G C)

Various undertakings of the Province to grow in the awareness of the challenges of the digital world in which we live and by which we are all affected, motivate the sisters to train to a critical use of these means, in line with our consecrated life and in favour of the mission.- more details -

Social Welfare Sector

“The religious consecration makes it possible for us to be fully and constantly available to the mission.” -Cs.9

We qualify our works of mercy through charity, gentleness and humility in order to light new hope and courage in the poorest, the forsaken, the downtrodden and the marginalized. We consider our works of mercy as a place where we meet the Lord and through which the people come in contact with His charity. We seek to sense the “Divine’ in persons with whom we live and to whom we are sent.

”God has reserved such a great and charitable enterprise for these times, when the need is great and urgent.. to do everything possible, to suffer everything and even shed their blood for the good of their neighbor.” -F.D. 14 The sisters who are full timers have a regular action plan to face the emerging needs of the times. The stress has been more on empowering the poor and the rejected of society, paying special attention to the girl child, the adolescents and the women whose needs are both material and spiritual., empowering them to claim their rights and doing whatever is needed. They make the sorrows, anguish and suffering of the sick, aged, children, youth etc their own as Jesus did and help them to rediscover the meaning of their lives and regain their sense of human dignity. - more details -

Counseling Sector

By being in solidarity with the suffereing members of His body in their human situation and by rendering them competent service, we help them to rediscover the meaning of their lives, to regain their sense of human dignity and to give the christian value to their painful condition. (Cs 53)

Through different sectors of our service the Province implements various means to impart couseling and guidance to the needy ones. Through the instrumentality of our sisters who are equipped with skills in counseling, this service is gracefully being carried out in ‘Mea Spandan’, an established counseling centre, educational institutions, health care service centers, families and individuals.- more details -
